毎年、宇治・茶の木人形を展示させて頂いている10月の「宇治茶まつり」もコロナ禍の為に中止になりましたが、現在 国際交流基金主催の「日本人形展」では「宇治・茶の木人形」も展示されています。
日本各地に伝わる人形を通して日本の文化を知って頂く企画です。
8月からクロアチア・ブゴバル市立博物館にて、そして10月からカナダ・トロント日本文化センターにて開催しています。世界各国をこれから10年間に渡り各地の美術館・博物館等で2箇所同時開催をしながら巡回します。
人の移動は制限されていますが、代わりに日本の人形たちが、各国 各地を訪れ、交流を深めてくれるのは嬉しいかぎりです。

Ningyo Art and Beauty of Japanese dolls
“The Uji Tea Festival” in October where Uji Tea Tree Dolls are exhibited every year, was also canceled due to the corona disaster. However “Uji Tea Tree Dolls” are also on display at the “Ningyo Japanese Doll Exhibition” sponsored by the Japan Foundation.
It is a project to let you know Japanese culture through dolls that are handed down all over Japan.
Held from August at the Vukovar City Museum in Croatia, and from October at the Japan Cultural Center in Toronto,Canada.
It will be held at two locations at the same time and will be exhibited at museum around the world and city for the next 10 years.
The movement of people is restricted, but I ‘m glad that Japanese dolls visit each country and deepen exchange instead.
